Into this charged environment, family members were invited to return, one by one. The encounters took place within the stillness of the apartment, where every object stood as both relic and witness.
Valentina reflects on the act of returning to what can no longer be restored. The work contemplates how spaces absorb loss, how objects hold emotional residue, and how photography can mediate between presence and disappearance.
